In Estonian maokiri means 'snake pattern'. I've made several sweaters in the pattern.
This one is from Estonian wool (Aade Lõng Solid 8/2 and Aade Lõng Artistic 8/2). The pattern was published in the magazine Käsitöö (February 2020).
