When I designed the Ilmava top, I did not expect that it will be modified and re-interpreted so many times. I organized a KAL where several Lithuanian knitters took part, and it resulted in so many different versions of the top.
Sonata, the owner of Mezgimo Zona shop in Vilnius, wrote in the shop blog that it is like a series: I am the script writer and the pattern is the script and every new interpretation is like a new episode in the series. Even if you don't read Lithuanian, look at the pictures (all episodes are here). Currently Episode 13 is out. I have made several versions myself. The original:
