Honeycomb pattern
Old good honeycomb pattern (known in Estonian tradition as "maokiri") exists in several versions. Once I made a sweater for my daughter and used a classical version: the main colour is in stockinette and the contrasting colour in garter stitch.
Here it is.
There is also an opposite version: the main colour is in garter stitch and the contrasting colour in stockinette. I have not yet tried this. And it is also possible to work everything in stockinette:
While Medium Brushed (Adele's Mohair) is a soft, airy yarn, I opted for all-over stockinette. I will start a sweater soon and there will be a pattern. We picked up this colour combination:Purple is the main colour and dark blue contrasting.
